[sbopkg-discuss] Re: Question with -current

sbopkg is a tool for SlackBuilds.org and the website doesn't accept
SlackBuilds for -current, only stable releases.

You could always grab a SlackBuild from the latest repo and try to
compile it on -current.  After all, that's what's done when preparing
the repo for a new release.
