Sorry for the delay!  Been a little busy the last few days.  Yes, I can
confirm that the TERM=xterm-color works.  I also found another workaround
when using screen by issuing the following command:

screen -T xterm-color

Thanks again for looking into this.  This should also fix any other problems
when using screen.
