[sbopkg-discuss] SVN updates -- testing needed

A few new changes and feature requests have been added in to SVN and
they need some testing:

The first involves the request that unselected items in the queue are
retained and not deleted. This is now working in SVN -- the delete
part has been moved to a separate menu entry in the queue submenu. That
handles deleting individual items or deleting the entire queue. But,
you can now unselect individual items in the view queue and they will be
kept, only turned OFF. When processing the queue, only the items turned
ON will be built/installed.

Additionally, how items are added to the queue has undergone a fair
amount of revision. This is to allow for the fact that items may be in
the queue but the user may want to overwrite them (i.e. when there is an
update), or when loading a user's saved queue into a queue that may have
a duplicate entry etc. Anyway, I would greatly appreciate lots of
testing of the build queue -- adding, removing, saving, loading etc.

Another change requires a new sbopkg.conf variable, the default which
will be as follows:

LOGFILE=$TMP/sbopkg-build-log

This is the default location of the permanent build log, which means it
can now be set manually. If you test from SVN, please add this to your
sbopkg.conf file.

Finally, and probably most importantly, Mauro's new update code has been
merged in, so heavy testing of the update feature would be greatly
appreciated. This _should_ eliminate the need for any of the
application-specific hacks. This code requires a new file to handle
some application name changes, such as libxmlxx to libxml++. This file
goes in /etc/sbopkg and will automatically be installed with the next
release's package. However, you'll need it now if you are going to test
from SVN. You can grab this file from SVN:

http://sbopkg.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/src/etc/sbopkg/sbopkg-renames

Thanks!
