That's because you are using -current which changed the database location of the installed package a/pkgtools-15.0-noarch-20.txz: Rebuilt. Move pkgtools database to /var/lib/pkgtools/. Move removed logs to /var/log/pkgtools/. You can apply this changes to fix it for -current https://github.com/sbopkg/sbopkg/commit/e43d08ec664d5fea51f9a431650b914648312f0e -- Willy Sudiarto Raharjo -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... That's was due to the maintainer put a .info file in the mrboom script and sqg tried to parse it and failed. You can ignore that message actually. -- Willy Sudiarto Raharjo -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... No SBo packages installed? Message-ID: Thanks, Willy Sudiarto Raharjo (Sat Apr 20 07:52:00 2019), for showing that the cause of the trouble with sbopkg in Sl/w-current is that the plain "find" command does not follow links, not even as paths. Therefore you suggested that certain path-names end with '/', to force "find" to search inside each linked folder. Based on that hint, I made a different change in the /usr/sbin/sbopkg script: replaced every "find" with "find -L", and so far it works well, at last! Singing in the rain, I'm happy again :-) In this way, there will not be such trouble in case of any *future* change of location. (However, change of location is a bad idea, I think.) Whatever solution you prefer for this trouble, don't you all think that it should be implemented into a new version of sbopkg, very soon? If I understand correctly, every user of Sl/w-current has this problem, and it may cause disappointment with sbopkg and with Sl/w, especially to new users. Keep up the good work! - George K. It's been merged in master git branch and it will be released when next Slackware 15.0 gets released by Patrick. Please note that sbopkg only support latest stable release by default, so if you are running -current, you need to understand the risk and may need to be able to solve it yourself. -- Willy Sudiarto Raharjo -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
