I tried to install gogglesmm which has fox-toolkit as a dependency. The fox-toolkit has the wrong url so I built version 1.6.43 from source. Then I went back to sbopkg and installed xfe, no problem, but when I try to build gogglesmm from sbopkg, it seems that gogglesmm can't find fox-toolkit. I'm not very experienced with this stuff so any help would be appreciated. In a scenario like that, you should edit the SlackBuild and .info file (which can be done via sbopkg's 'Custom' menu item or however you'd like). Then build as usual. However, what you did should also work if you edit gogglesm's SlackBuild and add --fox-prefix=/usr/local (assuming that where your fox version went - sbo/sbopkg would make sure it went to /usr. gogglesm appears to have a handrolled build process which doesn't really work properly and requires the flag. Perhaps someone else on the list can but I'd suggest trying to build it without sbopkg (so you can confirm it's just an nvidia problem and report it as such) and try to get help on the general slackbuilds list and/or IRC channels. If it's not installed, then it should be either /path/to/slackware/k/kernel-source-2.6.37.6-noarch-2.txz /path/to/slackware64/k/kernel-source-2.6.37.6-noarch-2.txz depending on your bit version and Slack version (examples from 13.37). To see if it is, ls /var/log/packages/kernel* Also, slackware comes with slackpkg and you can do things like slackpkg search source slackpkg install kernel-source (or something like that).
