I can't reproduce this. Using both trunk (build) and 0.31.1 (build,
install, uninstall), sbopkg worked fine for me (except for an md5sum
mismatch). Can you say what version of sbopkg, version of slackware,
arch of machine, what part exactly is looping, or any other sort of
detail?
